Hello cannabis.com,

If this turns out to be a repost, it's only because I received the 'server is busy' error.

I created an account originally to view some pictures, but some how I have an urge to post, & I suppose this is where post #1 goes. As the title hints, I'm from Florida. Been living here most of my life. Haven't been smoking for long, about a year, year and a half. I like smoking cigarellos and from the pipe, but I'm taking a shine to using bongs. The area I live in is usually dry on kind budds, but some home grown mids shows up often and there is always commercial weed floating around.
I hope to make some friends and help in anyway I can. I guess I'll see "you" around the forums.

Hey welcome!

What's up? I'm new to CC too, and I just moved to Florida in October. I really don't know anybody down here. Maybe this will open up some interesting doors. I've been smoking for about 12 years and I still can't roll. I'm strictly glass. Pretty sad, but it works for me. I don't know enough about the area to rate the bud (haven't gotten anything local), but the people seem OK. Just haven't found anybody to smoke with.

I lived in JAX for years and had a hook up at the beaches, another in the Orange Park area and a good one on the north side; Lem Turner.

JAX used to host a "hemp fest" in April over by Nextel Stadium at the park on the St. John's river.

I don't know if that is still going since the local cops became real pricks about the whole scene.

However, I've always noticed that where you find musicians you will also find weed.

Hey man im moving down to jacksonville in 2 months so we will be in the same boat.

Trying to start a fresh life down there.

With so many people who smoked in JAX I thought I'd find mores smokers in JAX. So wrong. So, so wrong...
