CFL Closet Grow probable SCroG

after my last CFL grow i ended up with a decent amount of bud, enough to keep me high for a month straight and make an evening of brownie fun, but most of the buds were wispy. i mean, i for sure would not pay for this bud (but damn, was it nice and strong)

here goes my next grow. my setup is the closet, measured at about 27 x 27 inches. (about 70cm x 70cm for you other people)

6 x 26w CFL @1700 lumens each = 10200 lumens
2 x 42w CFL @ 2700 lumens each = 5400 lumens
total : 15600 lumens

i have 2 open sockets in my setup, a 2x40w fluoro tube i'm not using. i'm gonna upgrade as much as possible before flowering.

soil is scott's seed starting potting soil. it worked nicely throughout my entire first grow.

i went out and dropped about $150 in supplies today (a story in itself, how i bought a drill but i bought masonry bits by accident, how the guy was eyeballing me and asked me "what are you trying to do with those" in a conspicuous tone when i was picking out all those little sockets in the electrical aisle, going to a couple different home improvement stores) so as you can see the first pic varies from the second, which then varies from the third, all quite greatly.

i gave the plant that's there some nutes yesterday and i think i screwed it up a little bit. a few hours afterr i gave it the nutes, its leaves reached up real high toward the light and i swear the plant got a little bigger also. i have pics of this happening, you can see the difference between before and after. i say i think i screwed it up because today when i looked at it, it had a couple drops of what appeared to be some kind of brown water on it (where it came from, i don't know) and there was a little yellowing and the tips of the top leaves are brown. i'm not an expert so i don't know exactly what's happening with it (i will be sure to look it up however). i'd post pics but my camera is such a hassle to use that it almost isn't worth it. the nutes i used is shitty miracle grow houseplant food 8-7-6 but that's all i can do right now. i also bought miracle grow bloom booster 15-30-15 for flowering. i may or may not invest in something super professional.

although the setup looks decent, due to my lack of proper drill bits i could not get it the way i wanted it. i don't really wanna spend any more money til i get my paycheck (this money is basically borrowed, think of it as a cash advance).

i was going to build a little scrog box but i bought the wrong kind of screws (go figure) but then i just figured i'd hang my poultry net from the ceiling. i've never scrogged before so this is a new experience for me.

so yeah anyway i was looking at my one plant and it hit me: wtf am i doing growing one plant. i started worrying cuz it looked like it was strugglin with some kind of problem so i went and grabbed my other buckets and threw some seeds in there. i am probably only gonna grow one plant. but yeah what if my one plant turned out male? now i have some backups.

this is only my second grow and i hope it goes well. my first grow i started 2 seeds both turned out female. that one plant u see there in the pic is actually from the better of the two plants (it was stressed out so it hermed a little on me, but i only found about five seeds in the entire plant).

i need help and suggestions. i know how much you all love pics, so i'm gonna try and post a bunch (not right now, as my grow progresses). i have a ton of pics of my old plants and of this one growin up. the plant is about 15 days old.

i'm really excited for this grow and i hope it turns out okay. i want desperately to grow somethin i can be proud of.

i just gotta wait now. next thing i'll do is top the plant when it's big enough so i get four branches growing upward.
