i hope that helps
thinking about it how many plants have you got that u want to build this for basicaly u cut two holes in the side of ur bucket at the top feed the pipe's down in to your resevoir and attach a pump then all you have to do is set a timer and there you go i think thats about right ive never built one my self but ive seen the one's in the shop and it look's easy enough if im wrong trust some one will tell me lol laters man i hope it works out for you peace!
yea i pretty much got it except for the pump. wat kind of pump do u need... Ive never done hydro before
pref a submergable pump ne would surfice but the bigger the better i say depends on how many plants ur wanting to water. have a look on ebay or go down to ur local hydro store i cant remember the name of the pump i have off hand but there are so many different one's out there the more plants u have the bigger the pump u will need.
I am using a top feed system. It is a very slow drip like maybe 20 drops a minute. My beans just sprouted. How much water do these babies need? Do I just keep the pump on with a constant drip or do I need to get them on a schedule. I am using hydroton in 5" net pots. Please any info is appreciated!
Thanks :rasta:
If you're using just hydroton, you can use a constant 24/7 drip.Quote:
