Weed affect personality?

I have a friend, who almost anytime he says anything really stuipd or mean or something like that, blames weed, yet he says weed is good. Does it really poorly affect a persons personality?

I think it does, although not in the sense that your friend is using it. I have found that after smoking weed for about a year now, my memory is, at best, working at half what it was before i started smoking. That's kind of a personality thing, all of my friends always comment on how forgetful I am nowadays (they don't know I smoke weed).

Well MsBunny isnt really talking about memory. I agree about the memory thing, mine is fu*ked too. But weed has not affected my personality at all. I'm still the same as ever. It has not changed me at all.

Yeah I don't think he should directly blame it on weed. He has to learn to control himself.

Your friend is blaming his own faults on weed. I have toked for 40 years. I work in Special Education and as a tutor. I am "creative, patient and kind" "gifted at working with "at risk" students" "a self-starter"- those are words directly from my letters of recommendation. Pot has shaped my personality in a most positive way- I was a psychologically disturbed teenager. I was anti-social, depressed and on the edge of being suicidal. Pot changed all that! My opinion is your friend is an ass who will blame his failings on anything, or anyone, but himself. By the way, you might want to keep away from him when he gets drunk! so my memory is still with me lol but yea...
