pabuds it looks to me to be going ok its 5 weeks in picts i would run fan as much as u can. make stems stronger but looks ok. it looks like the light or lights might be a touch to high i start with florarcent lights right on top of them not hot enough to burn but they will be short bushy plants at first then when i put it out side it kinda evens out but still a bit bushy. if in door till end and u have the room then you shoud be ok you just dont wont to burn your plants from the heat of the light. i put my hand above the plants an hold it there for like 5 mins to see how hot my hand gets which tells me if its to close or not...hope this helps are you using any plant food yet???? your soil looks like standard potting soil straight outta the bag???? good for 1-2 weeks but thats it.. i will keep eye out for ya 2 see if i can help..

At four weeks veg it should've been near 1ft (16-17" by now), lower your lights, and perhaps add an HPS to the mix, I only use two 150w HPS (with MV for supplement) now, works wonders.

8"-12" is way too far away for flouro's, get them around 2" above the tops of your plants and get that fan on more, maybe for 15 mins every hour, sit back and watch them really start to grow. ;)
Good luck :rasta:

the problem is too little amount of light and/or light intensity, and if using fluoros, then you can put light about 2 inches above plant canopy.
You see, you can grow with fluoros; Just don't expect fast growing or high yielding plants. peace
p.s. Your plants look fine, they just need more light. peace

P.S My plants will be grown with fluoros its vegitative life then HPS for the flowering that shouldnt effect yeild to much right just slower growth until budding?

I got rooted 6 Northern(and 3 Afghani) clones 3 weeks ago and was very unprepared and they were in rough shape, if I didn't take them they were going in the trash. They spent two days in the little rockwool cubes in a 90 degree closet till I could get out and restock everything. Tho top it off we got nailed with spidermites. The miites are non-existent now and they are taking off. They are 10-11" tall bushy and have fan leaves almost the size of my hand spread right out( but I'm a chick with small hands). Anyways The leaves are already zig zagging and I can just about start taking clones. I also have them under a 400watt MH bilb and don't know their history before me though. This is my first real grow. I've tried in the past but something big always can up and I made my choices usually after about a month of hard work. I'm looking forward to bringing in my first harvest.
