11 point leaves?

i am on my third grow and all is well so far. i have a question bout the leaves. most of these plants in fact 4 out of 6 all have 11 point leaves. the other two have 9 and ive seen that before but these seem like they will continue to get more. any info on thiswould be appreciated. and is it a specific sign of anything?

Strain is a consideration. Increased foliage is a good sign that your plant is healthy and growing fast. Mature leaves with a low number of fingers usually indicate a problem. Healthy plants can have 5, 7, or 9 fingered leaves.

I had 11 points on one plant here. It was strong from the start, went from 1 to 5 skipping the 3 point leaves entirely. But it was male, so it was killed in the last few days. I think I may have FIMed it as well, but I can't remember if that was before or after the 11s.

i dont know any solid facts on this subject, but it appears to me, to be a combination of genetics and maturity.

aw shit man that one's gone, i don't know if we got any of the leaves or not off it! i'll try and find a pic, i think i have one where you can make out at least 10 of them.

anyway I guess you'll have to take my word on the fact that it had 11 points. sorry i didn't snap a better photo of it, but I think I have seen some in photos on the net and I didn't realize they weren't very common. oh well, maybe i'll find another one.

the total number isn't an indication of anything. but if you know what the strain ushally grows at (Say 7 blades) and yours only has 3 and its mature. you know you've got a problem. too many is never a problem

I've seem up to 13 sections.
A healthy plant should show good serration and maximum number of sections as compared to others of it's kind (strain).
