As soon as the 12/12 starts then the flowering process begins and with various maturatin times the more light it gets in that cycle then the better the yeild.
if the plants were put into 12/12 at the same time and you add more light it will help with yeild and density but if you let them bud to long it could ruin your harvest the flowering period is only so long if you continue to try to bud after that the quality of your harvest will start to degrade

if you add light... your plant will recover and grow GREAT.... but other plants can NOT be obstructing the light...
