Weed "reactivating" drunkenness?

A bit of the backstory, skip to the bottom if you don't care for my actual question.

Last night, I stayed with one of my friends and his girlfriend. We smoked 3 joints and 1 bong (1-footer, 1 hit a person) of high-midi's and me and him had a drinking contest. He only took 1 shot of Bacardi 151 before giving up: I had 3 1/2 and proceeded to become uncomfortably drunk.

I smoked 2 bong hits of the same weed from last night about 20 minutes ago, and some of the feelings of drunkenness from the night before have reappeared.

My question is, is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? I don't know what's affecting what but maybe you guys know something.

I've never had that happen to me with alcohol, however weed will usually reactivate a recent DXM trip

the same thing happened to me, i drank 16 shots of karakov vodka and was throwing up ALL night then two days later i smoke the weed and feel sick as shit

Yea, I wasn't feelin sick but I noticed my reaction time and my reflexes were noticeably lowered... it went away a few hours after I made that post, however.

Hadn't have it happen since. Probably just because I drank over my limit that night.

alcohol is out of your system within hours of ingesting it, so i doubt it.

just more proof that alcohol is the devil's work lol...
