I know you probably mean this Glass grass that's been going around - but I've been smoking Soapbar for about 10 years now (apart from the last 2 months - will never smoke it again if I can help it), and have the lung capacity of a dried turd.

WOW! You guys over there in the UK sure are having a hell of a time trying to smoke weed! This glass thing is the craziest I have heard of! I am so glad I am not getting this shit over here in the US.
Is this some problem encountered mostly in street deals, or is this happening to the bigger, 'inside' sellers that have an established customer base as well?

It's happening all over mate - in imported goods as well. A new one I've heard of lately is where they lightly spray the weed with wet sand as it's growing, and the bud will grow around the sand. Then they can charge twice the amount of cash as the weeds really heavy from the sand.
Quality people these - I hope they all suffer 10 times the amount that people are who smoke their shit.

seriousely i wish i could grow my own, i love smoking weed but not at the expense of my health, im still trying to find a decent dealer coz my current one has gone dry and im looking to buy some more but im worried about all this sh*t

you legalize marijuana and sell good marijuana in stores at a reasonable price, you eliminate fucking bastards like these that are trying to make the profit from it...noone will buy that shit if you can go to the store to get something 10x better.
