help with babies
Newbie to the forum here....I haven't grown in years. Never had the internet back then. This little guy is only a couple of weeks old, from seed. I have a total of 7 plants. This one developed this yellowing at the top today. Since I have so few, and I haven't sexed the plants yet, I really don't want to lose any. The picture makes it look really green, but just envision a light yellowing in the middle of the leaves. Anybody have an idea what this could be?
HPS 250W. Small closet area. Vented with door open for fresh air. No fertilizer yet. The soil is mircle grow mix. I assume it has enough food in there for the first while.

Thansk for answering my post.
Even though the door is being kept open, and the closet is located in the basement, I am able to keep the temperature at about 70.
Right now, and since I transplanted the babies to the closet, the lights are 12" away from the top of the plants.

hmmm sounds ok to me..Hps for seedlings can be a little stressful for em fluros are the best for vegging but funds are usualy an issue so id recommend moving that light to about 17" away from the tops...also is that foil your using in the grow room or is it jus me!? if it is foil it can create unwanted heat = more stress! although ur temps do sound perfect for growing...try using some mylar much more effective light reflection and no heat!! hope it works out...

are you spraying liquid fert over them?? or are you spraying water over them and letting it dry by itself?
