My brother told me that smoking weed raises your metabolism. I dont know if its true or not. He said its how he lost all of his weight (40 pounds) That was about 4 years ago or so. He said if u wanna lose weight...when you smoke ...DON'T give in to the munchies...cuz smoking weed will help you burn fat faster
I've heard that before, but I don't buy it. I think when you smoke so much weed and continue to smoke heavily, you just lose your appetite.
I thinkd there is some truth to this.
When I'm high, and have the munchies, and drink my favorite beverage Sprite.....I'll literally piss it 30 minutes later.
i dunno how true it is, but think of how many stoners there are out there that are skinny as 7 kinds of fuck.... personally, i've actually always thought it did, but i've never heard anything ever saying it does or doesn't, it was just a personal theory i had... i have 'some' proof to go with it, not actual scientific proof, but still...
ok i was a fat kid when i started getting near my teens, at 13 i started smoking weed, was still fat til like 14ish or so, but that's also when i started getting heavy into weed... then i got skinny, and i mean SKINNY.. stayed that way until i got locked up (and weed taken from me) within a month of being locked up (and having no weed) i started to gain weight, i ended up gaining 30 lbs or so.... then i get out, within a month or two of being out (and smoking weed again) i got somewhat skinny again, i still think i'm fat, but everyone tells me i'm not (i'm just the type of person that thinks their fat no matter what, probably because of the harrasment i got in school well before i ever started smoking weed.)
i personally thinks it does,stopped smoking weed for 6 mths and put on a bit of weight,started again and soon lost them xtra pounds, im 10 1/2 stone could do with putting on a bit of weight but it just never happens,i put it down to the weed.
actually it does the exact opposite. your metabolism slows. I'd quote it from a book ive got but im to lazy. fantastic read
