haha I am with you latewood. I guess rep points aren't enough of an ego-boost (or deflator for some) for some people; now they need other ways of validation. sheesh.

once a month start a thread asking people to submit links to the best posts or w/e get a bunch then run a poll.

I was thinking more along the lines of humor. an award for the funniest post
the hottest post the weirdest post the best cat post the most informative post the best weed info post. the best weed photo etc...I think people would enjoy it but that is just me.

It is always a positive note that members suggest ways to improve the site...lol, roflmao, LOL, hey you all, brb, lol, peace...

wouldn't that just make the inner circle at cannabis.com more smug? jerking each other off by nominating each others posts? while newer members are just left on the sidelines, toking up smiling at the "most funniest post" to at least feel like we're in on the joke instead of being excluded.
