Erm it depends on so many things :- Strain, Growing methods, lights, food, co2, temp, etc.
My friend did a grow on the bare minimum you can do it, with cfls n stuff and got 1oz from 2 plants and I just got 3.25oz off 1 plant, I am sure people have had much more than this off 1 plant aswell.
last go at it ,
worst = 168 grams or 6 oz. , n best = 476 grams or 17 oz. . 4 plants 2 diff. strains all were topped n lst'd , 5-6 wks veg. time under 2000 w. hps. the 6 oz. plant saw lotsa stress . method was hydro in 5 gal. dwc bubbler / drip combos w/ only a 6in. netpot lid .

Legalizdahurb is right on. Hit all of those parameters squarely on the head and you'll score big. Ignore any or all of those same parameters and you'll be lucky to finish the grow.
Inside yields vs. outside yields are also all over the board. I've seen as little as 4 grams on a single plant indoors...and as much as 6.5 POUNDS on a single plant outdoors. (just this past summer in fact)
5.25 oz on one plant indoors is my pinnacle.
I concur .... there are factors involved .... me .... I do a SOG perpetual type grow using nothing larger than a one gallon pots. My best yield is 3/4 oz per plant my worst was less than 1/8 oz. I usually get between 1/4 to 3/4 per plant.
