Reservoirs
Hi to all and Merry Chrismas
I posted this in the wrong thread earlier today, so here go's Is there a rule for what size the reservois to the size of the tray?I have a 22"x22"x7" flood and drain tray with hydroton clay.4 plants in net baskets.I'am veg and cloneing in the same cab.then flowering in the closet tray.So for a tray that size what would be the gal size of the reservoir? Appreciate any help you have to offer. Thanks Peace

you have to have a rez big enough to flood your tray...that's it. bigger rez allows more margin of error when it comes to topping off the rez.

Thank You latewood
The tray is 22"x22"x7" and the math saids it's a 15gal rez.So I should get a 20gal tank to have a little error margin.See what you think about this,Veg in the cab in 8" net pots in the tray with clay balls ,Flower time pull the net pots out and set them in a hydo drip tub.In the closet and start the clones in veg.Always growing clones, veg plants, and flowering at the same time.I'am thinking if I do all this just right I might just pull it off,I hope.
Merry Chrismas and peace.

:smokin: that's what I do...I clone in rockwool 1"x1" starters, then I put in 3.75" netpots w/hydroton into a homemead ebb and flow propagation tray, and wait for roots to grow out of netpots...then I drip in veg. In flower, I drip, but I really like to put the babies in their own 5g DWC bucket or 2 in DWC tub. (can you say "Monsters")
I tell you what///I just decided I will do a perpetual growfaq...later
