I am a little confused as to which lights to use for these, do i use just warm white throughout and do i give them 18/6 12/12 or what.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers all.

Lowryder will flower under 24/0 light so that is what you would want to give them for ideal production. Warm whites will be fine the whole way through too man, I've used both for veg before, and there isn't really that big of a difference. What is important is keeping the CFL 1-2" away from the plant. Anything farther than that and you're wasting precious lumens. The proximity to the plant is much more important than the spectrum for that part.
Thanks for your info bro, i find it interesting that you say warm white can be used for veg.
Cheers dude.
Yah, if you look at the grow in my sig, all those plants were vegged under 42 watt warm white cfls (like 2700K or 3700K). And they stayed really short and compact all throughout veg, only like 6-7 inches tall at 6 nodes. I kept the CFLs like 1" above the plants the whole time, and the loved it :)
Nice one, did you use 18/6 or 24/0.
Thanks dude.
I kept my lights on 24/0, but my plants aren't lowryder, I was just saying that warm whites would be your best bet since they are best for budding and not bad for vegging. But if i grew lowryder, I'd definitely keep it on 24/0, since its autoflowering you would want to just let it have as much light as possible for maximum growth.
Sorry man i`m a bit wreked but you mean you use 2700k for vegging, i`m keen to try now.
Yah man, I used the warm white (2700 or 3700k) bulbs for vegging. I was going to use the cool white (6700k) but i couldn't find many of them. I wasn't sure if it would work since everyone always says "cool white for veg, warm white for flower" but my plants are proof warm white works just fine. They didn't even stretch one bit. So yes, the warm white CFLs are 100% fine for vegetative growth
See, look how happy they look under the warm white bulbs :) The only cool white one i have is the more round looking one that looks different than the other ones. This last pic is what they look like now :D
good info...I'm starting a Lowryder 2 seed farm in the closet after the new year, dumping the HPS this time and just trying it under 2 x 65w 6500K flourescents. This gives me hope.
