Only thing I can think of quickly is a drip system. You can get all the parts from a good horticulture shop. It will be cheap and you can set it up fast. Its also reliable if you do it correctly. Good Luck.
that is a tough one. try finding water crystals. i've never used them or know of anyone who has. so i won't say if they work or not
theory is they hold water and release it during times of drought. i can't say if it's good or not and if anyone knows please share the info. i found a website www.watercrystals.com that might help explain the process. good luck and let me know how it turns out
thanks people, i heard that you can place the pots in a shallow tray of water and let the plants absorb from below, this possible?
not sure, never tried it. if the roots go down the far i could see how it would be possible for them to absorb it. although it may also run the risk of drowning them or causing fungus to build up.
iv heard it absorbs it into the soil, and there for slowly waters it, but yeah i can see what you mean, drowinging would definatelly set me back a bit...
It will wick the water from below. Just ignore the best way to do it though, the drip system. No point in doing it perfect the first time I rekon. Good luck
