First off, i would like to thank everyone who answered any questions i have have this past week. I really appreciated the responses. I was wondering about how long does it take from the time you piss in a cup to hear any results? In my case it is a preemployment drug test. Thanks again
I looked in the archives and didn't find anything on how long lab results take. The guy that interviewed me said it could be a week to a week and a half. Does that sound right?

Would that include the weekend? Took the test on thursday at 9:00 am and now it is monday and haven't heard anything. Wouldn't they have to notify me of a positive or dillute result or do they just notify the employer that payed for the preemployment test?
its now tuesday and still no word.....
took my test on thursday its now tuesday now word yet
i have a friend who does the blood tests and he says they are usually done in less than an hour, most of the time it is near immediate, but they have a policy that only certain people are allowed to tell people the results. id imagine its the same with urine tests
