That is sad that his pet pig died. Pigs are the smartest animals and can learn tricks like dogs do. Plus they're clean - the only reason they are muddy is because they're forced to live in it; they roll in mud to cool off, but if they have fresh water they will prefer that to mud.

I'm not sure I would let a 300 pound pig sleep in my bed, though, cause it's crowded already with two small dogs...
