i was just woundering how much most ppl spend on x-mas?
i usly buy my 2 best buddys a 8th of some headys so theres 100$ (50$ x 2)
then i spend about 30$ on each of my sisters (30$ x 3 = 90$)
then i spend about 50$ on my parents
and about 350 - 400$ on my girlfriend
so over all i spend about 600$ on x-mas
How bout u?
I don't have a job or any money so I am so not celebrating christmas.
But I really want my boyfriend to buy me uggs.
Uggs or a cell phone...
Or diamonds...but he says the diamonds are unpractical and that uggs will be more useful.
Dammnit.

I grew up in a family where expensive gifts or lots of gifts isn't the way to celebrate x-mas. Gifts are a material thing, and our family is not bonded together with gifts. We usually get each other one gift each. Nothing huge and fancy, except a few times of course.
We have a large family, so instead of buying everyone a gift, we draw names out of a hat for who we buy for, except immediate/close family, like mom, dad and brothers/sisters of course, so I buy for 1 relative, 1 for my bro, 1 for his wife, 1 for my mom, and 1 for my dad, so about 5-6 gifts I buy.
I spent about $150 this x-mas on gifts. Like I said, gifts mean nothing to us. It's being together than matters as we only see each other once a year.
While we're on the subject, what are Uggs?

My wife is a retail manager, buyer, for a skateboard shop......she is a buyer for 13 stores across the counrty.....
she buys brands like
Volcom
roxy
billabong
gallaz
Rvca
all the bikinis brands.....
and many others...
she flies all over the USA going to trade shows.......
she is the hottest little momma you would ever lay eyes on.....
she says they are cool....there cool.
Besides she has over 100 pair of skate shoes, why NOT?
id take my DC's over any calf-high pink uggs with the fur on the rims any day

let me tell you one year when i was young.....someone stole all of our clothes out of the laundry room, at some apartments we were living at. It was around christmas.... So my MOM had to buy clothes insted of gifts.... I hear ya on the tight christmas stories.....
But, now that i have kids.....ahh man it is so cool. I buy them so much stuff like i never had before....
it is the american dream....
