WOLFMOTHER.

Don't know if you guys have ever heard of this band...they are a fairly newer band from Australia.

They are kind of like...Led Zepellin meets Black Sabbath.

Anyway, I was able to see them in concert, it was super rad. They are an awesome band, I am fortunate to have such awesome friends that they bought me a ticket...

Only lame part was they they didn't allow smoking and wouldn't let you outside, so my friend and I went in a girls bathroom stall and smoked a cigarette...and these fatty security gaurd chicks knock on our stall and are like "THEY GIRLS ARE SMOKIN' IN HERE!"...and we ran.

yeah, gotta love Wolfmother. some other aussie acts you should check out, are The Presets, Cut Copy and The Avalanches. in fact, all four acts are signed with the indie record label Modular Recordings.

I have heard of The Avanlanches, awhile back...don't think I have heard of the others but I will have to check them out sometime.

The tunes aren't too bad (they're no Led Zeppelin though they sure try to be)... but man, the lyrics are just... I can't stand them. :(

I think they are super cool and a lot of fun and I am stoked I was able to go to such a good concert...I have the best friends ever!

yeah, i see your point about the lyrics. but the song still kicks more ass than Animal Mother.

I think it is cool that their sound resembles Led Zepellin, because I freaking love Led Zepellin...and since I never had a chance to see him in concert before it is cool to be able to see a band like wolfmother..

They put on a fun show with a lot of good energy..just like their music. It just makes you want to freakout. I was stoked on it.
