I took the bus From N.Y.C To Houston about twelve years ago we left out of new york with two bus load's an we had A stop to eat in wasington D.C. Just as we where geting redy to pull out Two narc's flashed his badge an talk to the bus driver.thay did not surch my bus but when we got closer to texas they put the passenger's from the secound bus on my bus an i was told that thay searched the secound bus an busted two people I think for a gun I don't know what else so i guess they do random check's
I've taken the greyhound from Syracuse to Abilene, TX, Abilene To Syracuse, NY, Syracuse to Bozeman, MT, Idaho Falls to Seattle, and from Santa Rosa, Ca to Abilene, Tx in the last two years... I've had my carry on checked twice the whole time, they've never searched me personally or my under the bus bags. I was in Chicago the first time I got searched (after a layover), then in LA.. So I'm guessing they only search in the biggest cities. Really all they were looking for in my carry on was liquor bottles I think.
Your Probly right Hippikid what I hated the most about takeing the bus cross country was stoping in every little hic town on the way. I think it took Five day's to go 1700 miles an that's non stop except for rest stops
for like a half hour on the way never again! when I driv it takes about 32 Hours Over three day's stoping to sleep
lol, yeah Greyhound sucks. Only reason to ride it is it's cheap.
