i just bought a glass bowl off my friend for 10 bucks..it rips but there is so much shit inside it..i have been gettin it out..and i am stickin q tips through the rush hole and getting out of the bowl and the stem of it..but there are parts i cant get...so i was wondering you guys knew any methods to get this out..i have shooken it up with water and all and it works but there is stilla bunch in there and i want tit to be nice and clean so let me know if you have any ideas....thanks
a good way is to boil your pipe.. my friend did this once at my house and it cleaned the pipe really well.. it just made my kitchen smell..

There's a bunch of threads around like this, just do a search. If you just want to clean it real quick, just get a safety pin and scrape the resin out. If you're actually want it to be completely clean and are willing to put some effort, do what everyone else said.
Boiling water will work...just be careful, the heat will make it very vulnerable to breaking, especially if it is a cheap glass piece. Also you could get the highest % of rubbing alcohol you can find, 99% is good but not at every store. Pour a bit in the pipe, cover the carb, mouthpiece and bowl with your fingers and shake the shit out of it. You can also add salt, in with the alcohol, it will act as an agitator. You can use any sized grain of salt you want, bigger ones might be tougher to get out. Then rinse it out real well with hot water. If it is still not clean enough you can soak it in alcohol and shake it around occasionally, eventually it will be clean as new.
lol if i was given a pipe/bong with so much resin in it that it's hard to smoke out of, i'd be getting every bit out i can and smoking it..
oh yeah if you want to get it out and smoke it, i have a guide up at the top of the page stickied, use that...
otherwise just get alcohol and salt, depending on the peice, put it in a ziplock bag with enough alcohol to cover it put in a good ammount of salt (atleast a few tablespoons) and shake the hell out of the bag, then use warm-hot soapy water to clean it out the rest of the way.
if it's a bong or something, do the same thing put just put the alcohol salt in the bong it's self and shake like hell.... or something that works even better, get a baby bottle brush one of the cheap ones that's just wire and white little things stickign out everywhere.
