I read the side effects on some Meds now Im paranoid

So I decided to find out some side effect of some Meds the doctor has me on because I havent been feeling so great lately. Im taking these to help me get pregant and have been feeling really sick and thought I might be pregant but decided to check to see if any of the side effects could be caused by my meds. Here is what I found out.

Prometrium
Abdominal cramping, back pain, bloating, breast tenderness or pain, chest pain, constipation, coughing, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, emotional instability, fatigue, headache, hot flashes, irritability, joint pain, muscle pain, nausea, night sweats, swelling of hands and feet, upper respiratory infection, urinary problems, vaginal discharge, vaginal dryness, viral infection, vomiting, worry

Glucophage
Glucophage could cause a very rare--but potentially fatal--side effect known as lactic acidosis. It is caused by a buildup of lactic acid in the blood. Other side effects include abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, gas, headache, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, weakness

So now Im really paranoid and wished I would not have even googled that shit. I hate taking any kind of pills. I knew that I was a little more bitchy these past few weeks but thought it was just PMS or something, but then I started getting a little depressed and and wanting to vomit everywhere. When the nausea started I would smoke a little to get rid of the it but im bone dry for the moment so I just have to stick it out. But after reading those side effects I dont even want to take those pills anymore.

The only humorous part of this is that Worry is one of the side effects.

My advice: don't have children.

Does it ease your worries that almost all of the stuff doctor's give us have similar side effects. Most are rare and you end up taking the pills hoping they will help you more than they will hurt you. If I am really sick I will demand medicine...if you are really sick you probabally should just take the medicine and hope that you won't need them very much longer. Good Luck

You should talk to your doctor about what you're concerned about. Maybe there are other meds that you could take. If this stuff is really that bad and you don't want to do it but still want children you might want to think about adoption.

I would love to adopt a child but my husband has this thing going where he is the last male in his family to carry on the family jewels. He is a only child, his parents siblings never had children so he is the only one left and feels the need to carry on the family name. Ive really thought about it and all of the sickly feelings I have been going through is well worth being able to have children. I just hope it happens sooner than later so I can chuck these pills in the garbage.
