New 1st time grow setup

today i bought myself: 2 42watt 2600 lumen soft white (home depot had no cool white) CFL's, some 1-gallon pots, potting soil, air duct piece w/odor filter, and a rubbermaid 32 gal. trashcan. will add a fan later.
the trashcan's dimensions: 32.1 x 24.6 x 22 inches. is this tall enough to grow some cali orange skunk and NLX? it was either the trashcan or some stacked tubs (more expensive).
and don't worry, i live with old people, they won't think anything of the big blue trashcan in my room.
