re-veg after harvesting?

I want to put one of my plants back into vegative growth after i harvest the buds. For the sole perpose of making clones as the plant i want to clone has actuall become to tall for my grow area and if i re-veg it and the take clones from it i can cotrol the clones growth and get rid of the original mother either to a m8 or chop it and make hash from it. Any tips would be apriciated for this process. It has been flowering almost 7 weeks now and should be ready for harvest in around another 5 weeks. Also anyone grown lowrider strain or lowrider 2 as im thinking of buying lowrider seeds and was wodering if they were as good as the reviews i have read on the seed bank sites. Any tips & info apreciated. Thanks in advance.
