Ventilation Question... 2000 watt grow...

Okay, let me start by saying I am a newbie at this stuff. My room is partially set up and I'm at the ventilation part, and I am STUCK =(

I have:
25 feet of 6 inch ventilation tubing
6 6 inch ventilation clasps (to make for a more secure connection)
a thing that is going to connect to the floor (intake) to the six inch tube
two elbows so I won't need to bend the tubing

I am going to drill a six inch hole in the ceiling of the room (which is the attic)
Outtake will go up there, I have done my fair share of research and I feel this will work just fine.
Here are my questions:

a.) I just went to Home Depot and couldn't find anything that could be placed in the six inch hole, and then have the tube attached to it. What is this called? It's pretty much just a six inch tubing correct?
b.) How does that tube stay suspended in the ceiling? Do I screw driver it in to a stud... thus meaning my outtake hole has to be near studs?
c.) I need a six inch fan to suck air out of the room into the attic... does this fan technically go INTO the tube... if not, where does it go?
d.) I need some sort of fan that will pull air in as well, so same question as C

Might I first say that although you may usually think you have an especially specific question, just about 99% of everything has already been answered here. Take a look around, do some archive searching, etc.

That being said... you do not always need an intake fan. For both my flowering rooms I only use an exhaust fan. For 2 1000 watt lights I would use an 8" fan with around 700cfm. With a fan this powerful you should not need an intake fan but the room must be sealed (no cracks or openings) if you are trying to pull air from another area. Are you pulling from the basement and exhausting into the attic? or just pulling air from inside your room and exhausting into the attic? Exhausting into the attic can work great, I do it on more then one room. However the rooms themselves that the air is being drawn from are very cold so its cool air. You cant keep the area your taking air from hot or youll get no cooling effect.

If you can seal the room, then use a large exhaust fan, pull air from the room, and then use another piece of ducting to take air from the area you want. if everything has a good connection and there are no leaks then youll have no problem moving a ton of air through. Remember, you need the fan at the END of the exhaust. This is the most efficient way. This way you can keep the fan in the attic so that it doesnt make noise in your home.

PS. If this is your first time growing, you might try something smaller scale so you dont have a lot invested if something goes sour. just a thought.

a= 6in. starter collars = 6 in flange w/ lotsa lil fingers that get bent over on oppisite side of wall/ceiling.
b= the fingers on the starter collar will hold duct to ceiling . and racerx is right if possible keep fan in attic it'll be outa your way then n quieter .
c= was answered in b lol .
d= you might not need an intake fan , sometimes just a darkroom vent will proviude enuf passive intake air . i have like 10 -4in round ones in my room .

dude i just went through this i have a few questions though then ill give my best suggestion first are your lights air colled and how big is your room

they selll starting collars, so you cut the 6" hole slide the collar in and it has fingers that you bend around the other side to keep it in then you attach your tube to that. they sell them at home depot in the ventalation section

My hoods are air cooled, yes...

The room is 9 feet by 11 feet, pretty decent sized room actually. Currently I got the closed circuit set up, however now I am running into the next problem : I can't run both lamps in the room off one circuit so I am pulling off another circuit via an extension cord. Obviously I really prefer to not do this, but I am not very educated with electricity so I am a bit clueless as to what can be done.

if you have 2spaces and 50 amp in your breaker box to spare and know some one who is apt in electrical you could add a 50watt breaker to your breaker box run conduit to a second breaker box in your grow room with 3 15amp breakers and then run some more conduit inside the room to boxes with outlets so you could get both lights and have a spare 15amp outlet to do what ya need with

depending how long ya talkin from growroom to breaker box your taking about
10-40bucks for the 50amp breaker (depend what kinda breaker box ya got)
12 for 3 15amp breakers
25 for the new breaker sub box for the grow room (make sure ya dont get the one with the expensive breakers)
9 for 3 electrical boxes with outlet covers
i dont know what conduit costs a foot copper prices are always changing
the prices for the components are whole sale ya might need to double them if its a homeboy doin the work from homedepot parts and always check local building and electrical codes

6 outlets
50 100 feet flexible conduit (cant use in some places ... fucking bulding codes)

i dont know what wire costs a foot copper prices are always changing oh and scratch the 50amp breaker and go with a 30amp and go with 2 15 amp instead of 3 you will save costs on wire and ya only need 2 for the lights and ya can run the fans and what ever else ya got goin on the circuit that in the room already
