Dried up leaf tips. Please help.
The tips on the leaves of my plant are all dried up. I do not have any pics, but my plant is budding and almost finished I think.. Has 6 150W CFL's above and around it. Plant is 4.5 feet tall. Been growing since June indoor to outdoor, back inside. Should I cut these dried up parts off. I have seen pics where the branches are all buds. Were all the leaves cut off? Wouldn't it make sense to cut the leaves off my plant so it gets more light?? Thanks for any info.

On the dried-looking leaves, give 'em a gentle tug. Either they'll come right off, or they won't. If they don't, then the plant is still using them as a nutrient repository, and you should probably leave that leaf alone and let the plant finish draining it. I go through and pull off the deadest-looking about-to-fall-off-anyway leaves all through flowering, but especially the last month.

yeh, flowering plants like to wilt fan leaves alot in the last little part of the cycle, after all, thats what all plants do in autumn...
p.s. what size pot are you using?

My plant isn't wilting at all. It is just the tips of the leaves are dried up. Can crumble with my fingers. Pretty sure it was from the lights being too close. Any way to revive? None of the leaves, no matter how much of the leaf tip is dried up, pull off with ease. My plant is in a 5 gallon bucket. Just stopped using ferts. Thanks for the replys and any other info.
Thanks,

You won't revive the leaves this late in flowering. Just let it finish normally and next time watch yor temps. Sounds like you got away with no problems this time.
