SOG Question
Hi all, long time grower from back in early 70's. Started in soil up in NOCAL as a kid. Been in Hydro for the last ten years or so. Also I am a med user that grows for myself and two MS patients
Now that I have the BIO out of the way here's the question. I have generelly grown three to four foot plants in GH Water Farm drip system. Thinking about going SOG because the bigger plants are hard for me to get to in my closet and they take so long. Been thinking smaller plants in a sog setup. Does anyone know what type of yield can be expected from 40 to 50 plants if I flower as soon as they get six to eight inches tall? Or am I better sticking with larger plants.
I run two 600W HPS and two 400W MH in a 6x5 closet. I have great ventilation both in and out have my lights air cooled with ballast on the other side of an 8 inch concrete wall and also run CO2.
I would appreciate any feedback, kind of at a cross roads in my growing.
Thanks Sprout

SOG Question
if you're using cuttings,6" is about as tall as you want to go,they'll top out at around 18",depending on the strain, with all that good lighting and CO2,you can harvest up to around 1oz per plant, thats about what i average weight wise per plant using that method(16plants in a 3x3 E&F system....bonbon

SOG Question
that would be like 3 lbs evry 2 weeks, depending on the strain.
you`d need at least three massive mothers to be able to keep up with the sog
