I just bought a bottle to run through my vaporizer whip and make some vaporizer hash...
but I was wondering: theres a bunch of nooks and crannies in my grinder/pollenator that are packed with resin. Could i soak this in Isopropyl alcohol also then evaporate the exess to make more hash?
any tips/tricks/nonsense is greatly appreciated:thumbsup:

ok,iso must be 99% u.s.p., i think it's manufacturer's (mfr.'s) standard now. with isopropyl alcohol, you alwase want to be in a well ventilated area...no closets...to make hash/oil you need to evaporate the alcohol which has been used to clean w/e that has THC resin in it.
you're gonna need some kind of tool to get in the crevices of a long hose or something, a pipecleaner?...either way...soak it in alcohol, rinse and flush it out....rinse the vapo hose out with water and use a blowdryer on low fan, high heat...do not light a torch in the room ur doin it in unless it's a large room...make sure that the resin is at least more of an oil than a liquid before you smoke it and make sure it doesn't stink like alcohol or you might get a hot hoot. happy hootin' dude:rasta:
I use "El cheapo" vodka to clean my vape and other glassware. No hassle about the denaturant (poison) that they add to iso to make it undrinkable. We used to soak stems in vodka and then evaporate most of the vodka and then dampen cheap pot with it to improve the potency. I don't think I'd do that with "resined" vodka, I doubt if the flavor would be as good.
