The main reason I like bowls is because you can carry them on you at all times.
The reason I hate bowls is because you get fucking ASH in your mouth half the time (not talking about scooby snacks/hot lunches like just every time you hit you get a little ash). Any body ever do any improvised ash catchers?
Just use a screen and that problem will be gone.

i've found a much better solution to screen, as the only ones you'd rather have to carry around and take chances losing are the metal ones, and that's just to take a corner of toilet paper, fold it up perfectly to just barely get through the hole in the mouth-peice... it kinda acts like a cigarette filter but not quite... i still get high as hell (if i use a cigarette filter in a joint i DO NOT get high, well i've never actually rolled a filter in ajoint, more refering to stuffing an empty cigarette 'shell' with bud....
anyways, i just stuff a bit of TP into the pipe... it blocks all the ash/particles..
Yeah, I think I will make myself an ash catcher. (DUDE ASH CATCHEM... POKEMON>?!!!!) I don't think you're supposed to use screens for glass pieces.

i used to use them all the time in my glass bongs/pipes, but they don't really work that well, unless you have a very large bowl... they tend to just stick to one side of the bowl and not really 'screen' anything... i would start using glass screens, but i've heard from basicly everyone who's owned one, that they just get lost like fucking crazy... so fuck it, i'll just stuff toilet paper in my pipe til it's resinated enough that ash doesn't come flying in my mouth. as for bongs, well... the water does a pretty good job of filtering ash and hot embers...Quote:

first of all once idea is to get a small water pipe. something small with water in it. theres a few pics i added that may be good to look for if your on the hunt for small glass water piece. but also the look of what you have there, a little spoon, the next step may to be like everyone says get a screen. if you do that id invest in a glass screen because they are nicer but then again i have no idea how many ive lost... anyways i suppose you could just roll something up? cant roll? buy yourself a rolling machine.
