what the heck bowl!!

So i went out to my local smoke shop and purchased a little water pipe. It appears though as the bowl piece (8mm) has a really big hole in it. i try to pack it so as the stuff doesnt fall through, but i have little chunks of weed floating in my water. it's gay! how do I fix it?
