you gotta germinate your seeds first man, soak your seeds in warm distilled water over night, than rap in a damp paper towel, put in a ziplock bag put the seeds in a cold damp place(a drawer works fine) than when the seed cracks and the beginning of the seeds roots show ( usually within 3-10 days) plant the seeds 1/4 inch down in your soil with the roots down and water, good luck with your grow man
Wayoftheleaf,
So you have read a few post? If your really in the game you'll start reading daily. But what do I know?

Sometimes things can get a little bit confusing when you're jumping from thread to thread here on the forums.
Don't worry about it, read around, do some searching for topics you need to learn about, and then read some more.
Heres a decent little video you can watch to get you started with the basics.

it comes down to this do you want to grow with h.i.d or compact fluorescents
I've never grown anything before lol. I have helped my grandmother a lot since i was little so i think i could work with it. just never done it all by myself.
I was wondering like how much should you water your seeds at the begiining daily, what fertilizer/dirt to use. I want to have everything ready before i start to plant lol.
I suggest you check out some grow forums from many different sights and read their grow FAQs. Nirvana has their own grow guide on their website. Also, reading some grow books at your local Borders or its equivalent is a great way to learn. Read, Read, and read. You never stop learning.
