compatability question

hi there, this is just another hypotethic question and is purely
for entertainment purpose.

lets say i have this great lighting kit, but its from the UK
the kit is complete with contactor, timer,ballast, reflector and 600w hps
wich all use the english el. plug system (plug G) 230-240v@50hz

but where i currently am (algeria) we use 230v @ 50 hz and the F plug system..

so im wondering if i get an GtoF adapter and plug it to the main socket, and then connect the uk timer to it, will it work properly and would it be secure?:confused:

im sorry for my english.. im not the most fluent in this language but i hope you understand my question

i would call someone local and ask if you can play your UK stereo or something. cuz were all just speculating here

Its only 3 wires cut the plug off and rewire its easy its the same volts so no problem
