busted

so, me and some friends were smoking at me and my girlfriends appartment and someone knocked. so my girlfriend got up and looked through the peep hole and was like...OH SHIT ITS A COP, so we ate the joint and then hid the sacks and cracked the door. the cop was like i have a warrant to search the residence, everyone stay where you are. so when the showed us the warrant and brought up the dog we just showed them where everything was. they got 2 brand new quarters off me and a friend and took us to jail. they also got 2 thin glass pipes, one bubbler, a thick crazy heady glass pipe. it sucked

so me and my girlfriend went like 4 days without smoking and bought another quarter last night

we smoked most of it last night, we have one joint left and its gonna be our last one untill we are both of probation.

That sucks dude... Do you live in an apartment? I'm just wondering where the warrent came from considering you were in your house minding your own buisness. I suppose if they can smell it outside or see you doing it through the window they could get a warrent. I'm not sure, but that is fucked up. In your place smoking a joint and they have to fuck with you.

Why would he have a warrant to search your place?

warrant means they can break down the door to enter. If u had time, I'd atleast threw everything out back window or flushed that shit down the toilet.

But I guess when you're high it kinda throws you off guard seeing a cop show up to your apartment.

Think someone tipped them off? How else would they know? Do you sell from your apartment?

I think we need more backstory on this one...

I don't think the man is lying, but after reading the post i just thought, "wtf?!". somethign shady must of been going on for the authorities to be snooping around with a warrant.

Thats what I thought too. Even if someone smelled weed from out side, I'm sure it would have been hard to tell which room it was coming from. It sounds odd to me.

Did you see the warrant? I'm not doubting that they had one...I'd just like to know why they had one.

It doesn't just seem odd, its seems really interesting. Just like a movie trailer, he tempted us with a part of the story, but failed to give a complete back story. I've been baited and I'm afraid we will have to wait for this one to come out on dvd, lol. Tough luck on getting busted though it really sucks.
