Hi cannabis.com. I just joined and am enjoying reading the message boards here. I look forward to making friends and getting some needed information. I am thinking about growing outdoors in my backyard. I don't know much about it though. I think this is the wrong time of year to start with seeds. Also, I'm curious to know exactly how one gets a dr recommendation?

I live in Oakland, which--yippee--just passed a law making adult possession of any pot, recreational as well as medical, the police dept's lowest priority.

too bad they shut down the club right acroos from the old theatre on, the one that sold quantity......oh well

I've heard the district is between 17th and 19th Sts and between Telegraph and Broadway. Can a person without a dr recommendation buy there? If so, what's the best thing to say when you walk into what appears to be just a regular espresso joint.

You got it curve... that the place... I go to an old hippie place in Berkeley, real small and personable, in Cali you need a Dr's that the clinics will verify first before selling you any, the Dr's not is usually about $200.00 for intake and expires after one calendar year. You have to have one of a variety of medical problems to qualify, for me it is documented pain, paset neck and back surgeries, I will try to get the other symptoms that you can use to get your card and also ask around for a accepting Dr. you can see, my Dr. is pretty strict due to the present Administration, and like I said he is a Community figure from the 60's real cool guy, but very catious in the present political climate..... I will post ASAP, keep cool
