do they filter out thc in joints? just wondering :P
I don't know why anyone would want to stuff a cigarette filter into the end of a reeferette. Usually a "filter" or "roach" for a reeferette is a piece of thick paper or business-card stock used as a holder so that the reefer can be mostly cosumed without burning the tokers fingers, it has no filtering effects actually. The unburnt dope in a reefer does the filtering for you, thats why pipes are more efficient. (This is where the light goes on for you I hope)
Actually what I think he meant is if he takes out the tobacco in cigs and stuffs them with weed will it filter out the THC. The answer my friend is no. I have done this many times when papers or peices weren't around and I still get as high as I do with just rolling papers.
If youre that worried about it, just break the filter off. Then twist it like a J.
I have heard the exact opposite. I have also discovered for myself... perhaps it was just the weed, but it did take away a lot of potential in a good spliff AND a lot of the high wasn't showing. Yet again, this could be from anything.Quote:

It doesnt filter anything, it keeps the end of the joint open, making the hits about 1000X better, and it saves any weed being wasted cos you can smoke it right down.
A filter from a cig WOULD filter out some THC, but you'd still get enough through to get high, but why bother? Why waste any THC?
of course it filters thc out. It's a filter thats what they do. Believe me i stuff cigarettes all the time
I have tried this once, and only once. I didn't get high and wasted some weed.
