$6.99 per scan. Are you fuckin kidding me?!
I was going around town this morning, looking for a place to scan some pics. The only place I found that will do it is Staples, and they want $6.99 for just ONE goddamn pic.
What is involved in the scanning process that would justify such a high cost? Maybe this is just their way of persuading you to buy one of their scanners, since it would be cheaper in the long run than paying $7 a shot.

Well shit, then someone around here should offer to do it for less and they can take customers away from Staples.
Maybe I will buy a scanner and charge people $5.99 per scan. :p

keep in mind too staples probably has some really good scanners. Scanners are like digital cameras and although they will work, some work better than others. So likewise if you went out to buy your own scanner it might not have the same quality. So maybe you are paying for a combination of NOT having to buy a scanner, NOT having to scan it yourself, AND getting slightly higher quality.
Who knows, i'm sure there was a starbucks around anyways for your convenience.

I think Kinko's is like the same... 4 or 5 scans and you cud of bought a scanner at Wal * Mart...
