Best Location To Start?

Where would be the safest, most tolerant place I could move to and start a personal grow?
Somewhere I could still speak english?

Grenada and Jamaica are pretty tolerant, and they speak English. Stateside, Colorado is starting to look better and better, while the feds concentrate on trying to break the back of the legalization movement in California. And yeah, Alaska is tolerant, and probably pretty nice for indoor growing since you can use the heat from the lights/ballasts to heat yourself rather than fighting the heat.

I would say for a personal grow, as long as you don't tell anyone, you can do it anywhere safely (barring electrical hazards). It looks like you're in the U.S, though. Here's a link to NORML's state-by-state ganja laws.

I'm biased, but I vouch for California and all its Prop 215, Senate Bill 420, A.C.L.U. lawyers-by-the-dozens leniency. I say that not having had any run-ins with the fuzz, though.

Does anyone know anything about canadian immigration laws? I know the waiting list is something like 8 years, but what if you're an illegal alien?
