Either somebody is an asshole or I found a dog who knows magic

So we find this dog walking down the street the other day about to become part of the cement. I call it over, feed it, look at it's collar and call the owner.

The guy say's "It's ok I left my dogs in the woods to hunt."

"Well that's wonderful but he wasn't in the woods, he was in the middle of the street."

So he asks if we mind kenneling the dog up and he will pick it up the next evening. But when I walk out there the next morning to head to school there is the dog staring at me from outside the kennel. So I call to him and he runs in the woods. Now I'm assuming the guy called someone to let the dog out to go back into the woods, because we are sure we closed the kennel correctly. Not to mention we never heard from the guy again. I would appreciate a phone call if someone is going to come on my property and release the dog, or at least a note. I'm beginning to think the dog wasn't even hunting. The ass prob just dropped the dog off on the side of the road because he was sick of it but was to stupid to take the tags off. I seriously hate people. The dog obviously wasn't getting enough food considering the big bowl I brought out to him was gone in less than a minute. Not exactly sure though, because if it had been abandoned I assume it would come back here considering it was feed here. I don't really know, but I am pissed off the jackass didn't even bother to call and let us know.

That sucks. I hate animal cruelty, especially to dogs. They're so cool...

Me either, he ran into the woods, so he may be going home. I'm not sure though. But yeah, I hate animal cruelty as well. It really sickens me.

Yeah hopefully it will be safe, but thats just messed up to do shit to animals like that.

Thats sad. If you see him again you should call the shelter so they can find it a new home where people will care about him.

or adopt him your self...

To many animals here to adopt another one. We keep aquiring new animals and can't afford anymore... I wish I could, I love saving animals.

yea what's with the dumping animals on the side of the road when you don't want them anymore bullshit? I was raised in a family where the dog's bed was more comfortable than mine, and it's food cost more than what I ever ate.

An animal that you raise as a pet becomes a pet...a member of the family, you can't just dump 'em on the road like that.

Now if you would please excuse me while I go feed the dog his filet mignon cuit seignant topped with freshly cultivated vegetables.
