I'm wondering if the temperature should be lower at night since I read somewhere that in will increase resin production ?

I will go out on a lim and say that he is probably talking about light cycle temps. You don't want to have a temp veriation of more than 10d if you can help it, so in the dark cycle, about 68f.

And, your night time temps should never be higher than your day time temps...

There should never be more then a 10 deg swing in 24 hours if you can help it and the perfect number is for lights off temp to be 6-8 deg less then lights on temp.
