How do you get the kif out?

Sup ya'll. So, I usually house my stash in small round or rectangular vials. At the bottom, and somewhat on the side, of one of the round ones I haven't used in a while is a nice a little collection of those beautiful golden brown thc particles. My question is, how do I clean out the vial for the crystals without getting rid of of a lot of them in the process? Do I just scrape it out with something thin like a push pin? Soak it something then pour it out? Something else entirely? Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
