Im a real dumbass when it comes to growing so excuse my stupidity. How do you regulate what kind of weed you are growing? Like...30's 60's dank .... is it all about how you take care of the plant or is most of it where the seeds coming from? thanks in advance

The type of plant that comes up depends on the type of seed you lay down.
The quality can be maximized by you, the grower, doing everything right.
Just read a lot!

Thanks much! I planted some bagseed from some flame ass mids i got. And i mean it was some good shit. So theoreticly speaking if i do everything right i could get a turnout something like dank?

Absolutely. You can even get lucky and find seeds in brick that are from good strains and give you much better results as homegrown than they looked like in the baggie.

You better start doing some real reading, at this point you need to start understanding that there is a specific light cycle for different parts of the plants life, a vegative cycle, and a flower cycle when the plant starts producing buds. You need to have proper lighting even if just some CFL compact fluorescents lights from Walli Mart, and know that you may have female plants and male plants and you want to get rid of the males at a certain point or they will pollinate your females leaving you with a bunch of seedy buds. May seem over whelming, but it is a awesome journey once you start on the road.

At the very least, get a CFL.
40 Watts is good enough, but you may have to buy a bunch. Or get a giant 150 watt CFL. That works, as well. And depending on how tall your plant gets, should be enough to make it grow. And put it 2-4 inches above your plants, at all times.
When buying soil.
Make sure you buy some peat moss as well. Because most potting soil, gets too hard after it dries, and doesn't drain too well because it's so hard. The peat moss will help the soil stay loose, and promote drainage.
Germinate your seeds first.
Don't just plant them outright. That usually never works, sad to say. Make sure you have a plant, before you go planting it. Germ first. Plant second.
Pay attention to the light cycle.
Give the plant the light it wants, and the darkness it needs for bud production. Usually 18/6 during vegetative growth is good. And 12/12 is good for the flowering cycle.
As far as growing...that's all I can think of at the moment.
Aside from have patience! Lmfao.
