How long till sex shows?

Just wondering how long it takes for plants to show there sex? mates plants have been in 12/12 for afew days now just kinda needa no about how long it will take untill we no what they are...

About a week. Males usually show first.

Bollocks, like stinky says about a week look for stigmas (little white hairs) showing though where you would expect buds to form and on the nodes(main stem,where every branch comes from)
If you have some plants much bigger than others there proberly male, males form small balls(filled with pollen).
Don`t worry its pretty staight forward you`ll see in a few days keep us posted.What nutes you useing, soil grow?.
Chopin the top off your plant will not make it show sex idiot.
