i was at a store with the woman and came across this badass vase that has be to 1/4 inch thick glass, its very heavy and the perfect bong however i need a few piece's to finish it off.
i drilled out a 12mm hole i wasnt sure how big it needed to be but this size looks like a good start i can go bigger if needed, i need a downstem for it and a bowl but the bowl is easy to get i cant find a downstem anywhere :confused:

go to your local headshop, they usually have spare stems for sale, and look for one that fits well, preferably with a rubber stopper to help with airtightness. also, does it have a choke or slide? if it has a slide, youre gonna need to have another glass-stem type thing, making your bowl and stem even smaller

$4.87 and they had about 50 of them with ones even taller like 32" for 9.75 too damn big

to get a rubber O ring that will hold your stem in place and make it
air tight.
dude just go to the head shop, and tell them you need the entire bowl/slide assembly including the grommet, then when you get home, make the hole the size of middle of the grommet...
i can't think how to explain this, ok there will be the hole cut outta the center, that the slide goes through, and if you hold that upright there will be a slit through the center going across, you have to make sure the outside rim of that has enough room to clear, because if you drill the hole just the size of the inside hole (that the slide goes through) when you go to put it all together, i garuantee it will break something, prolly the slide.
and this may sound weird but when you go to put it all together and you have the grommet already in the bong and you go to slide in the slide, make sure you lick the outside of it really good, so it slides in easily.
btw the slide is what the bowl goes in, incase you didn't know.. just trying to help you out.
