Hey all
I am considering an HPS system. Lets say I have, oh, 3-4 LST'd plants currently vegging. When I flower, I want to make those buds as fat as I can. Could I get by with a 250w, or should I go with the 400w?
Right now they are under 6 26w cfls. Would it be silly to just add some more CFLs instead of getting the HPS?

It's what I did, though I started the other way round, with the 250HPS first and 4 * 20 CFL's.
Good mix of white and red light, I think.
Since the girls are young clones, I alternate between those lights at the moment and am hoping to start running them all next week, if the girls look up to it.
They had a rough start, so I'm nursing them carefully.
ok it turns out I am moving out this christmas and i can't grow anymore. :(

My Friend will sell me his 250 watt hps for $100. Do you think I could ebay it after the grow and get my money back?
I live in a college town. Should I just put it on craigslist?
