heard of loads of ways but trying to find the best.
the way my dealer always used
wrap the block up in some kind of plastic bad (tightly)
drop it in a jug/sink of boiling water for a few minutes
then take it out, unwrap it and you can cut it easily by pressing down on it with a sharp knife.
works even for hard ass soapbar.
Dude..
Not boiling water for a few mins, no..
Warm up a knife, not to much though, and then press it through.. If there comes smoke from the hash, the knife is to warm.
that way works too... but it depends if he is cutting up a 1/4 into 2 eigths or if hes hacking up a 9 bar. If hes doing a big thick chunk then its gonna take more than a warm knife.Quote:

I would never put it into anything hot for a longer period..
We don't get them in Oz's.. We get them in 100 gramm plates.. Or 200.. 300.. etc.
And they are easy to cut up.. Always with a knife.. Sometimes, you can take a giant cooking knife and put it in a pot of boiling water, so that it gets hot, mark up where you want to cut, and then put it in the pot again then you cut up.:)
i was taught when u have a decent brick sized lump you use a cheese wire
Also good..Quote:

Last time i had a 5 oz brick i used one of them small hand held axes... you know what i mean... erm... you know the ones that are like 30 cm long... the small ones. One big hit and you can make a perfect cut.
Ahh..
You can't get a perfect cut, no.. Not the way you want it.. An example, you can't get that exact 1/8 from that.. You'd have to have a hammer to bang on the axe with..
Method: Put the edge of the axe where you want to perform the cut, and the WHAM with a hammer on the axe..:)
