Have any of y'all seen the show intervention on A&E? If you have seen the show, have you ever seen someone on there b/c of their MJ addiction?
There are always alcholoics, meth addicts, herion, etc.
It's so strange.

all of them i have seen have been because of hard drugs. meth and heroin i think. there is probably no show for weed because they haven't been able to find anyone thats fucked their life up really bad by only smoking weed.
Yeah, they're into more serious, addictive drugs on that show. I have seen episodes where they're profiling a heroin or meth user who happens to be smoking a J in an occasional scene. But no, they're not likely to focus on weed as the substance driving the intervention. People do develop psychological dependence on weed at times, and I'm sure there have been weed "psych" addicts in rehab facilities before, but lots more are addicted to physically addictive drugs.
I think "Intervention" is a really good show. I'm betting it helps a lot of people in the viewing audience. Sometimes it breaks my heart to watch.
ive actually seen shows where cocaine, meth, or heroine addicts would actually use weed to help them stop doing the more dangerous drugs and the show portrayed it as a positive thing...I thought it was smart
yeah there was an episode where the girl smoked weed to ween herself off meth
intervention is one of my all time fav shows, I find the world of drug addiction intriguing
its coming on in an hour and you can bet your ass I'ma watch it

i agree with bob sagat. marijuana is not a home wrecker.
i watch this show as well, and its almost always meth, heroin, coke, alcohol or a mix. id like to see some people coming off steroids or shopping addiction or something ya know?
ive been thinking of getting a degree in drug counseling actualy. im only going to a jr college right now but eventually when i get to a 4 year id like to get into drug counseling and addiction and try to show the benefits of cannabis to get people off the hard shit. just an idea ive had...
Yeah i watch this show its interesting and inspirational to watch these people ditch there addictions and go back to there family.
and you know why they havent done anything about weed?
