Just got my first 1/8, wondering how to keep it nice and fresh

Don't have pics yet, but it kinda looks like I got ripped off a bit. I gave 20 bucks to my friend and he told me that he'd get me an 1/8. He owed me 20 bucks so he said he'd pay for 5 bucks of it. It looks like he gave me a 20, though, but thats not the point of this thread. I was wondering how to get a bit less dry, because it seems pretty dry. I was thinking I'd stick a piece of an orange peel, but I dunno if its actually dry, and I heard about how it could get all moldy and bad. So I was wondering if putting an orange peel in there would be a good idea, because it might not be as dry as I think it is.

Put the orange peel in a baggie with the weed if it's dry. Only for a few hours though or else it probably will get moldy.

A glass jar, like a mason jar or a glass coffee jar is the best thing to keep buds in. It's usually pretty dry when I get it, which makes it easy to grind up, but then I put a small piece (1 or 2 inch square) of orange peel in after its ground. That way my joint doesn't burn too fast or too hot. Don't try to put it in a grinder after you put it in with the orange peel, it doesn't work.

well how dry is it... does it crumble when you touch it? if its not that dry, it probly doesnt need any hydration. after all, bud is supposed to be dry.

It doesn't crumble or anything, so I guess its not as dry as I thought, thanks for the input fellas.

orange or lemon peel, but make sure you open up the bag everyday to get some fresh air in there...I once left a peel in there for a weekend and it made some of my weed moldy.

haha for me there would be no use of storing an 1/8th, that shit would be gone in one sitting.:D
