ZANDOR Can I Help with the Audio Quality of your Show?

Recently I ahve been listening to you show. Its awsome. I don't as of yet have a membership on your site forum. SO I thought i would post this here.

On one show you talked about getting some better gear so you could spice up the show a bit.

I work at a recording studio. So Spicing up Crappy audio is What I do best. The shows audio is fine yes it works. But I could make it better for future uses. like for example. I could take the shows that are finished and tweek the audio in em. get rid of hits Snaps etc.,. and get an overall better sound quality for your show. Ill do it for free cuz I like the show plus it will give me the opertunity to give a full listen a few times to each show.

if your interested let me know and We will talk about how you actully record the show. Is it mono? multitracked? Digital recorded? with music? etc. The Audio Specifics as We call em here in the bizz...

Just a thought might be more hastle than its worth but Clearer audio is always better to get yoru points across.

Like I said It works and is awsome yes, I could just add icing and sprinkles to an already great Cake...

Do you guys think better sudio quality would help the Grow report? Clearer Audio? Professional sound? Or should I not bother?

Can you recommend any simple "computer" recording systems.. Something that can be hooked up to a MAC easily and get decent audio recordings?

How simple? Pro Tools has some lower end versions that are able to do quite a bit. Do you want to just record 2 track things, or do you want multable tracks? You can probably find a Pro Tools demo, also check out Sound Forge for 2 track recording, it is pretty to use, and can allow you to do tweeking, affects and other things, many online shows do their whole program with it. Another decent program is Cake Walk Sonar.
You can ask any other questions if you want, unfortunatly I am a PC user, but there are alot of solid products that are for Mac and PC both.

i have trouble hearing what he is saying when i am in a loud setting. like on a bus. Often the music is too loud too. so i can really only lisen to the report when i'm at home

Yes I can recomend a simple program that can be used for both MAc and Pc. And its shareware. Does it compare to pro TOols? No. Thats a professional program intergrated with hardware. $$$$$$$$$$ We use full on Pro Tools at the studio. These are 85,000 dollar systems. Thats just the cards, and software.

the mac and Pc program is called Audacity Its free to download on the net and it is open source Code so if you know anything about Modifying code you can mess with it. You can have Multiple tracks and import and export Mp3s. It is very easy to use and its totally free. And best best of all.. Easy install It just works. Thhe inputs for mic is already set up no drivers or loading 3rd party hardware.

Another program believe is native to MAC is garage band. Im sure you can download it on LimeWire. I would imagin they would allow you to do recordings. I have never checked forsure though. Its a lopping and sequencing software. But They must allow you to have a mic input.

Yes somtimes it is hard to heear our good buddy Zandor on tape. I could help brighten the audio up so It will cut more on all stereos and Mp3 players. And take out some big Mic hits and snaps. Well see what more peeps think...
