Sort of Embarassed......:( ?

Ok so like when I was like a sophmore in high school about 3 years ago my friends started smoking the green and like i was like "OMG i cant believe you guys are smoking marijuana!!!(Mainly because i grew up thinking that weed was actually "Bad" or something because of like all the anti-drug shit in Texas). Anyways I started smoking just about a yr. ago only like socially every other weekend only with my friends until about 2 months ago when I bought my first 20 sack and like ever since like I smoke like 2 bowls a day out of my little pipe and like i dont feel "Addicted" or any stupid shit like that but I just feel like I need to get high like every night in order to fall asleep or somethin? I dunno its just like i love being high so much i wish i could smoke like 24/7. Anyone have any comments about i would appreciate it!! Thanks

You're becoming mentally "addicted". If you care enough it should be relatively easy to quit for about a month. You don't have to give it up completely, but it would be wise to cut back before you smoke yourself retarded and wind up in section 8 housing.

There's no physical addiction to marijuana, it's all mental. You LOVE getting high so your mind tells you to get high, but if you quit for a while you won't get any major drawbacks, you may feel lightheaded, tired, or agitated for the first few days, but it's no big deal. Just get drunk or something.

ya i mean its easy for me to quit and all i had a job interview so i like quit for 2 weeks and i didnt really have any trouble its just right now i have the money and availability to smoke so i do.....on the weekends n stuff with my friends i just drink and all but for some reason i feel "Bad" when i smoke cannabis i dunno

Oh, well in that case.. stop being such a pussy. I thought you wanted advice on how to stop it, but really.. nothing's wrong with you at all. You're just a fellow stoner with good cash flow that enjoys to smoke. It won't last forever, though.. so maybe one thing you could do is cut back a little now and save money for bud later, because it will be REALLY agitating when you don't have the bud to smoke anymore and it's become part of your lifestyle.

As far as feeling bad.. why would you? Is it because it's illegal? Who gives a shit. And if D.A.R.E. or similar programs got into your mind than you're emotionally weak and should seek therapy. I have no respect for such programs, especially when they visited my class all throughout grade school and told us such things as "cigarettes have rocket fuel in them".. and such.

EDIT: Wait, by "bad" do you mean sick? Just don't mix weed and alcohol, it's usually a bad combination for a lot of people. And if you get sick on weed alone than I'm afraid you may have to cut back, I've had friends who throw up regardless of how much they smoke and can't do it anymore.

dude if you drink and smoke you will get sick it basicly wont get you high but multiply your drunkeness by like a good 5 or 6 times and you will just feel like youve been taking irish car bombs all night sure a few is ok but if your drinking dont smoke or if your smoking dont drink it will fuck you up bad

Shiiit, you and I are one and the same UTD! I only started smoking like, 7 months ago, and only used to do it like once or twice a week. Since this September though I've been burning everyday. I also sometimes feel depressed and guilty about it but when I look at it - I worked for this privilege. I'm 17, graduated high school (all my friends are staying back an additional year, much to their displeasure) with a good average, and I'm currently working towards saving money up for college next year - which I've saved up quite a bit so far. To add to that, I'm also with a great girlfriend and I'm currently in the best shape I've been in physically as well. Just sit back and enjoy the weed, but don't let it interfere with your well-being.

nah i didnt say that i was thinking that i would just act like i didnt have a problem with it or nething i be like "nah thats ok or somethin."

idk under my own circumstances i want to have control of when im gonna smoke and wen i want to smoke...to much of one thing is never good


i suggest u set a plan to wen u can smoke and stick to it...and reward urself wen u accomplish that goal by smoking a mass amount
